The Pourty Review & Giveaway

My son is two and a half. I have two older sons, and potty training did not go smoothly. So, I learned to wait until my boys are “ready” rather than push the issue. The youngest has started taking his diaper off and flinging it. So, I figured it may be time.

I was interested in the Pourty after seeing someone have their toddler use it at a park. I really thought it was quite brilliant for the mom to bring it with her, as those bathrooms are hideous especially for little ones whose bodies aren’t quite ready for regular sized toilets. Then the mom just poured it down the sink and rinsed it off. Perfect.

I plan on using it for road trips. In the dessert there is often a good hour between bathrooms and little bladders don’t always make it to the next stop. The easy clean makes it possible.

So, now I have one of my own. My little one is not potty trained yet, but he likes the Pourty. He takes off his diaper to sit on that now and I have managed to get him to toss the diaper in the trash. We are making progress. (I tried to take some photos, but they weren’t appropriate.)

The Pourty has a unique design to help you stay hygienic. It is only one piece, so germs can’t hide in the cracks and it is far easier to clean. It has a tunnel like spout in the back, making it very easy to pour out the waste cleanly and efficiently. The high splash guard is great for potty training boys. Plus, it has anti-drip walls.

The design of the Pourty also has a unique design. It has wider and flatter seating for the comfort of your child. No more red rings on the bum. Furthermore, it is made of very sturdy plastic, that also happens to be quite light.

The Pourty is recommended for children aged 6 months to 3 1/2 years old.

You can find Pourty on their web page, Facebook, and Twitter.

I think that it is great that it has a anti-drip lip to prevent unpleasant dribbles and mess down the outside of the potty
