Pass the Grogger is a game by Gontza Games, the creators of Christmas Cards.. Gontza Games was created by Ann Stolinsky. She loves games so much that she has game nights with her friends once a month. She created her own games because she wanted to share her love of gaming with others. She also makes it a point to have all of her games made in the USA.

I love games. We often have games nights ourselves. Games teach very important skills that every child should learn. Games teach your children how to follow rules. They also help your child with social skills such as taking turns and losing. But, the best part, is of course, spending time with people you care about.

Pass the Grogger is a great game for a mutli-age household. It is suggested for ages 4 to 10. The game has a simple premise. During game play, you take turns selecting cards and making matches of people and items related to Purim, a Jewish holiday.  The winner is based on a scoring system. There are two scoring systems, based on age. (I love that I can change the difficulty level based on who’s playing.)

You can find all of the Gontza Games at their website and Studio 2 Publishing.

Do people even realize that this is a Jewish themed game? how many even celebrate Purim? I bet most of the entrants (1230+?!!) don’t even know what it is.
