Mikarose

As a teacher, I find that I am in need of dresses that are appropriate but comfortable. I am always bending over desks or sitting on the floor. But, I also don’t want to look frumpy. Mikarose founded their company on the idea that modest, yet fashionable dresses can be hard to find. They decided to make a line that you can feel beautiful in while still being conservative. They also saw the need to create dresses for many different occasions; from the workplace to parties. I like knowing that I can purchase one of their dresses, and wear them around my students.

Mikarose sent me the Ashley dress in Stone. It has a round neckline in order to accent your face and elongate your neck. However, it is high enough that you don’t have to worry about showing any cleavage. It has a pleated empire waistline, which is a waistline that I prefer. The hem has a nice design at the bottom and the sleeves allow you to cover your arms modestly. I like it by itself, but I loved it even more when I added my belt. I will definitely be wearing this when I go back to the classroom.

You can find Mikarose on their website, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
