When I was in the classroom, I taught a lot about nutrition. I was always so surprised about how little my students knew about their food. Many of them had no concept about food groups or what a balanced meal is. I know I’m a teacher, and might do things a little differently than the average Jane. But my mom is not a teacher, and she taught me this stuff. I, in turn, am passing it down to my kids.
That is why when I saw the Fresh Baby product on another blog, I had to have it. I wrote to the company right away. And I am very glad that I did. These plates are great! They sent me the kid and adult version.
My children were very excited about the plates. I had the two older boys tell me what each section of the plate was for and they told me where to put the food. Every time we use them, my kids learn more about nutrition.
